Role Overview
The Front End Web Developer is responsible for all facets of the web presentation layer and interaction logic of the Blackline GPS web interfaces.
Front End Web Developers will work with web and presentation technologies, and Blackline GPS internal APIs, to provide an exemplary customer experience and continual front end optimizations and tuning.

Duties

  • Develop great user interfaces and experiences based on the Blackline LBS platform

  • Work with the design department to ensure consistent branding and display features

  • Integration of multiple products and third party APIs to provide user interfaces.

  • Work on multiple Blackline GPS web interfaces and mashups

Technical skills

  • Web Development languages and technologies.

  • PHP, AJAX techniques, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Image Cutting, optimizations

  • JQuery and related Javascript libraries

  • Map Engines

  • Mashups, OAuth

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years in front end design and implementation

  • Demonstrated experience with high performance and high complexity modern web based interfaces

  • Prior experience supporting third-party software through published libraries and interface specifications

Education requirements

  • Preferred: Bachelor's in Computers or Arts and / or related proven experience
