Strategic Alliance With Escort Inc.
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - March 26,
2009) - Blackline GPS Corp. (TSX VENTURE:BLN) is pleased to
announce it has entered into a strategic alliance with Escort
Inc. ("Escort"). Under the agreement, Blackline and Escort will
market and sell portable and fixed installed GPS-based vehicle
tracking products under the Escort brand name. Escort is a
leading developer, manufacturer and seller of premium radar
detectors.
By marrying the industry-leading technology of
Blackline with the equity of the Escort brand name, Blackline
will substantially increase its market presence and accelerate
its expansion into the United States. The first of these
products should be introduced to the United States and Canadian
markets this summer.
